Data visualization for complex systems
Overview
DataViz explores how data visualization can empower understanding of complex systems. We develop interactive visual tools that transform abstract, high-dimensional data into interpretable representations. By integrating artificial intelligence with visual analytics, we enhance pattern discovery, automate clustering, and support adaptive exploration of complex datasets. Using principles of human perception, cognitive science, and design, we create systems that reveal hidden structures in networks, dynamics, and heterogeneous data. Our work applies across domains—from scientific collaborations to biological systems and socio-technical infrastructure. By combining computational modeling, AI-driven analysis, and effective storytelling, DataViz fosters not only insight and discovery but also communication of complexity to diverse audiences, bridging science and society.
