AI in biomedical applications
Overview
AI4Med develops advanced machine learning methods for biomedical and clinical data with a focus on neurological disorders. We integrate multi-omics, imaging, and clinical records to identify biomarkers and build predictive models for diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis. Our approach addresses the challenges of small-sample, high-dimensional data by applying robust, regularized, and interpretable algorithms. By combining computational power with clinical insight, AI4Med aims to support early diagnosis, prognosis, and personalized therapy. The project strengthens the bridge between artificial intelligence and medicine, contributing to precision neurology and improved patient outcomes.
